I love how our blue front door sets off the red in the berry wreath. |
I know I've been a bit absent around here since my hospital stay. It just really took it out of me. In fact I was having a little bit of a pity party over the last week about it. I decided to cheer up and get Christmas going. There has been ornament making, baking, and wrapping of gifts. Here's a peek at a bit of it...
I had a craft party and we made these pretty
glittered bulbs with two types of glitter. I kinda have a no bulb rule for our tree with only a couple of exceptions. Since they were made with family and friend and turned out so pretty I thought I'd allow them on the tree.

Sometimes it's good to break your own rules |
The night before the craft party my sis and I made these pretty
beaded snowflakes.

I make these but not all prettily beaded. My sis made these the night before the party and then gave them to me the next day! |
I love making Christmas ornaments for some reason and every year my sisters can almost always count on getting a new one from me to hang on their trees. It's usually attached to a big sack of treats me and my Honey have baked up. I haven't gotten to the ornaments yet but the treat sacks are filled and ready to be tied with an ornament and some pretty ribbon.
